Stepping in to 2019 with Vision and Purpose

"The Vision Board has allowed me to see the vision, purpose and plan God has for my 2019 as I step into this new year." -Anecia Lee

I am not a fan of New Year’s Resolutions because I have never been able to keep them. I would start strong and within the month or two, all my work faded. I had great intentions, but little follow through. So, I changed my resolutions to commitments. My relationship with God is so very important to me so I dropped the resolutions and started committing my year and plans to God.

As 2019 quickly approached, I wanted something new and different for my year. I would continue committing to God, but I just felt that a “newness” was in order. I kept hearing the language “Vision Board.” I decided to give it a try and was I blown away. I considered what God had called me to do, my business and what I was passionate about to design my board.

I took each one of the areas that represent me or make up my life along with what is important to me and found a picture to represent that area of my life. Each picture is associated with a goal I want to accomplish this year. While my vision Board appears to be busy, it clearly represents my life.

As I frequently look at my Vision Board, I am very clear, focused, and grounded of each area and the goals for each picture. The Vision Board has allowed me to see the vision, purpose and plan God has for my 2019 as I step into this new year.

What about you? What does your 2019 look like? I encourage you, if you have not already done so, work on your Vision Board for 2019, it is not too late.
